Washington administers the Uniform Bar Exam. The
Washington Bar Exam consists of three parts:
The Multistate Bar Exam; the Multistate Essay
Exam, and the
Multistate Performance Test. The first day of the
Washington Bar
Exam consists of six essay
questions and two 90-minute Multistate Performance
Test (MPT) exam questions. The second day of the
Washington Bar Exam consists of the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE).
In addition to the Uniform Bar Exam, applicants must
take and pass the Multistate Professional
Responsibility Exam (MPRE), and, the Washington Law
Component (WLC), which is an online open book
multiple choice test on Washington specific law.
