New Jersey Bar Exam Format

The New Jersey Bar Exam lasts 2 days. On day 1, the Multistate Bar Exam is administered. On day 2, seven essay questions are given. All essay questions possess equal value. The essay examination will consist of four essays in the morning session (a total of three hours) and three essays in the afternoon session (two hours and fifteen minutes). New Jersey Bar Exam Scoring Information

The MBE counts for 50%. The essays count for 50%.
